Who we are - VPPS Management Team

Denise Williamson (British)

Managing Director - VPPS United Kingdom

Denise is a dedicated and organised self-motivated individual who thrives on challenges. She has a strong managerial background and has held senior positions with companies such as Allied Breweries, The NAFFE and was a senior manager for some three years with Harvey Consultants Ltd, a major ICT and computer people recruitment company with a turnover of £24 million. As well as a sound educational history, including a diploma in management studies, she is an experienced IT representative.

Denise has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the company and is responsible for business analysis, project management, sales management and oversees the research and development teams.

Denise has run the operation of VPPS entirely, since its formation in 2002, including the set up of the Burton-on-Trent office in 2003. She was appointed Managing Director in 2004.

Denise is an honest, hardworking individual and has an in depth knowledge of both the products sought and the market before them.

Mr Warren Lambert

Managing Director - VPPS Africa

20 years experience in the IT industry.

Warren started his IT career in 1978 as a computer operator. His experience includes: Technical experience gained as a programmer and management experience at Software Manager and Development Manager level.

In March 1996 Warren founded The Careerline Group (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. The Group specialised in IT recruitment, both permanent and contract positions. The company evolved as a market leader through customer focused products and services and grew over a two-year period to a multi-million rand organisation. The company was sold in June 1998.

Warren is a partner in the VPPS Group. The company was launched in the UK in 2000 with the acquisition of a London City based IT recruitment company, RD Riggs Human Resources Ltd. Warren's strengths lie in the appreciation of the people business coupled with a vision of how technology and people will evolve in the 21st century.

Shaun Krog

Senior Software Development Manager

Shaun too has held senior positions, including Analyst Programmer; Contractor and Analyst Programmer; Systems Development Manager and similar responsible positions with such well known groups as the Psiber Group (PTY) Ltd, where he was responsible for the Nedcor Bank Ltd operation; the Careerline Group (PTY) Ltd and Aegis Insurance Ltd.

In these roles he has acted on a Programme Assessor basis, the development of mainframe operations and testing of system integration. He has provided standby support for quality insurance testing, maintenance of an underwriting system and has been involved in many long running tasks with these companies, including customer information control system and involvement with ATMs and SSTs. He also boasts a sound educational history and a series of various qualifications within the IT industry.

In his role with VPPS, his duties are to develop new internal and client centric solutions, develop and maintain existing company websites, supply support business critical systems and act as network administrator and network support officer. He has been integral to the research and development programme since he joined the Group in 2000. His elevation to his present position with VPPS took place in July 2002 and as such since then he has been key to the research and development programme. He is a highly trained individual and a dedicated member of the team. He is equally at home dealing with customers at large or, indeed, involved technical IT problems in depth.

Lee Copestake

Senior Software Developer and Designer

Lee joined the company on inception and has been integral in the development of several of the company's major products, including 'BookWise' its base product (see Products and Services below). His duties and achievements have included the design, development, testing and implementation of all products released to the market. He also supports the team in analysing the exact requirements of clients and the start of the design process. Again, he boasts a sound history within the IT industry and is well qualified in his present role and indeed the extra responsibilities that the expansion programme will commit him to.

Craig Smith (South Africa)

Senior Software Developer

Started his career in 1998 as an Operations Supervisor, gaining experience of system migration, functionality enhancement and business processes. Craig was involved with developing new business solutions and managed existing client projects, as well as design and implement project management methods across the companies operations.

His focused changed in 2002 where he started providing account management and hardware and software solutions, primarily to government institutions. His roles and experiences include: Managing a small BEE company in South Africa, Hardware solutions, Software solutions, Asset management, web design, document management, Address Cleaning and Postal Code verification system management, MS Windows, Visual Basic, ASP, SQL, MySQL, Access, HTML, ASP.net exposure, Internet development and web solutions, for a variety of companies, Technical infrastructure (networking, cabling, desktop rollout) projects, Comprehensive training within the Microsoft development sector., Business architecture and product solutions, Tier to tier application design to improve business capacity, Extensive Adobe suite training, utilizing Apple Mac technology, Design and publication principles within the advertising industry, Project development and business logic, Windows 95/98/2000/NT, MS Project, Lotus Suite
